Jeff A. LeSaicherre
Jeff Alan LeSaicherre, is the managing associate in our Ponchatoula, Louisiana office and has been with Myles, Cook & Day since 2006. Mr. LeSaicherre is a lifelong resident of Ponchatoula where is family is noted for strawberry farming. Jeff married his college sweetheart, Martha, in June of 2001. Jeff and Martha have two children, Ella, born in 2005, and Noah, born in 2009.
Mr. LeSaicherre graduated from Ponchatoula High School in 1997 and Southeastern Louisiana University in 2001 where he received a B.A. in Business Management with a concentration in Computer Information Systems. He attended law school at Loyola of New Orleans, School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor and International Legal Studies Certificate in 2005. Mr. LeSaicherre was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in October of 2005.
The majority of Mr. LeSaicherre's practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate transactions, wills and estate planning, successions, business formation and business consulting. Mr. LeSaicherre is also licensed to write title insurance policies in the State of Louisiana.
Mr. LeSaicherre is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church where his children also attend school. He has served as Prosecutor for the City of Ponchatoula since 2007. Jeff, who likes to stay busy, currently serves on the Board of Directors for the The Louisiana Entertainer Hall of Fame, dedicates time to helping current professional football players start non-profit charitable foundations, while also serving as the Secretary/Treasurer of the 21st J.D.C. Young Lawyers Organization, is a member of both the American and 21st JDC Bar Associations, Tangipahoa Home Builders Association, LITT and Hammond City Club, all in addition to recently enrolling at the University of Alabama, School of Law where he expects to earn an LL.M. in Taxation by the Fall of 2011.
